5th Grade Strings Music Day

WHAT String students will join together for a day of workshops, student rehearsals and an afternoon performance for parents.


WHO 5th grade string students from Bel Aire, El Centro, McPherson, Mt. George, Northwood, Salvador, Yountville, Vichy as well as the Orchestras from Redwood Middle School, Silverado Middle School and Vintage High School will be attending.


WHEN Saturday, February 3; 9 AM - 2:00 PM

Check in at 8:45 AM  

Concert at 1:00 PM (parents invited)


WHERE   Vintage High School.  Please drop-off your child in the front of the school, near the Main Office. High school students will meet the elementary students and walk them back to the Gym where they will be checked-in.


COST Free!



  • This is a Super Saturday event and will count towards missed attendance.

  • Parents need to provide transportation to this event.

  • Please fill out the attached permission slip and return to your child’s teacher or to your school office as soon as possible.

  • We will provide lunch for the students courtesy of THE MUSIC CONNECTION.

  • Please join us for the concert at 1:00, which will feature Elementary and Middle Schools and The VHS Orchestra. We will be finished by 2:00.

District Music Teachers see 4th and 5th graders at Northwood for 40 minutes a week. The goal is to make music fun while learning skills, vocabulary and being actively involved in music making.
